To start running your car, you need the key.
As what I have learned, planning and executing consistently is the KEY to start a new blog. As a IM newbie, my primary focus in July is to write great content and meet other bloggers through Social Media and Blogging. July would be a great start.
In Internet Marketing world, there are a lot of words, terms, definitions, skills to digest. I need to set priorities and focus. From all experts, I learned it would take time to build experience, traffic, my branding and identity. Being patience is another KEY.
Your Thought
Do you have any advice for a newbie myself? What was your KEY when started blogging?
As newbies, we don’t lack the passion or excitement… so I won’t include that here. In fact when we start blogging, we are much more passionate than the pro bloggers.
The most important thing according to me is patience. Because, when our blog is new, we won’t have much traffic, wont earn any money from our blog. So we should not allow this to discourage us.
We need to be consistent with our posts, and take a very active part in the community, ie, commenting on other blogs and being active in social media sites like Twitter.
(I used we and us because even I am new to WordPress, but as a blogger, I am not new…I have a blogspot blog too).
